Ukraine Urges Apple to Cut Supplies and Block App Store Access in Russia

Ukraine’s Vice Prime Minister on Friday urged Apple high boss Tim Prepare dinner to chop provide of its merchandise and block entry to App Retailer in Russia.

Mykhailo Fedorov, who can also be Ukraine’s Minister of Digital Transformation, tweeted a replica of the letter despatched to Prepare dinner asking the iPhone maker to “cease supplying Apple services and merchandise to the Russian Federation, together with blocking entry to App Retailer.” Apple didn’t instantly reply to a Reuters request for remark.

Russian President Vladimir Putin began a three-pronged invasion of Ukraine from the north, east, and south on Thursday, in an assault that threatened to upend Europe’s post-Chilly Battle order.
